Wondering if you should stay at the Sugar Beach Resort? You should ask our guests who choose to stay with us year after year. Ocean Front has a new meaning when you hear the waves crashing on the shore, and when you look out from your condo's private lanai all you see is the Pacific Ocean in front of you.
Watch as the humpback whales play during the winter months and each evening as the Maui sun sets off in the distance. The six mile stretch of beach below is the Sugar Beach, which is perfect for morning or evening walks, playing in the sand or taking a dip to cool off. Enjoy swimming and hanging out poolside with a view of the ocean, or BBQ with the sunset as the backdrop. This resort also has a Deli and bar on site.
Conveniently located in North Kihei, Sugar Beach Resort is perfect for accessing all that Maui has to offer. From Ululani’s shave ice and the ABC store around the corner to quick access to highways leading to Lahaina, Kahului and beyond there is a bus stop located here.
There’s something extraordinary a couple of miles out into the channel between Maui and the neighbouring island of Kahoʻolawe.
Molokini, is the partially-submerged, crescent-shaped crater of a volcano that erupted some 230,000 years ago.
The crater’s highest elevation is 60 metres and has a diameter of about 600 metres, creating an expanse of tranquil water sheltered from the strong currents of the channel.

Kihei is right in the hottest and driest part of Hawaii’s hottest and driest island, so you can’t be blamed for cooling off with that famous and colourful sweet treat, shave ice.
For the uninitiated this is literally shaved ice crystals, and nothing hits the spot better on a hot day.
Shave ice is flavoured with tropical fruit syrups like mango, guava, passion fruit, coconut and many more.

Taking over the lot opposite the Kihei Canoe Club, the Kihei Farmers’ Market is open for business all day Monday to Friday.
Prices are reasonable, especially by Maui standards, and locals make up much of the clientele, which is always a good sign.
Shop for mangoes and passion fruit in the summer, gigantic avocados in fall, as well as pineapples, papaya, salad greens and tomatoes throughout the year.
There are also Asian specialty food vendors and st
This is a nice unit for two people in a very convenient location to all parts of Maui. Great beach and sunset views. our main issue was with the screen door to the balcony, which was very beaten-up and wouldn't stay on track -- it needs replacing. Some instructions for using the TV/video system i the living room would also be helpful -- we figured it out but it took us a while. Otherwise, the unit was as advertised and we had a great week.
This unit was beyond perfect. The decor was quirky and cute, which provided that nice at home island vibe. The view was amazing, the grounds were welcoming, and the beach was beautiful. The communication was also good! Didn`t need to much, but they let us know all we needed to know, and responded when we had a question. Would 100% stay again. `This review was submitted while the home was managed by a different property management company.`
Staying on Sugar Beach can’t be topped!
